Willow Springs Elementary 2010 Highlight
“Willow Springs Elementary has spent a year with team study and implementation of PLC, SW-PBS, and RtI. These three teams with the MIM Leadership team have integrated concepts and team collaboration leading to improved outcomes for students. Through this collaborative work and expanded use of student data, plans have been made to dig deeper into collaborative inquiry for next year. As a 3rd grade teacher indicated, ”we are working smarter, not harder and are identifying learning gaps to address in moving students forward.” A 4th grade teacher and Instructional coach indicated “we are not working alone, we have a school team that is behind each student.”
The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education works with educators, legislators, agencies and citizens through its statewide school-improvement initiatives and regulatory functions to assure that all citizens have access to high-quality public education from early childhood to adult education.
